We are GeoAdventures; a new and exciting branch of the Geology Society. We run monthly outdoor adventures around Cornwall with local companies, such as kayaking, climbing and coasteering. We also hope to run some more relaxed sea swims, BBQs, walks and some workshops such as wild food foraging.

We enable all students interested in geology, along with CSM members of staff to socialise in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, seeing the geology of Cornwall that may be missed on field trips.

We set up GeoAdventurers as we felt CSM was lacking any kind of society enabling students to have fun, whilst expanding their knowledge and love for geology and the outdoors. Trips were a great success last year; students from many different subjects, along with CSM staff joined us and we hope to expand the society and our reach this year.

We hope you'll join us on an adventure soon! Membership is only £5 - join now!

Co-President: Hannah Ritchie

Hi I’m Hannah, a third year undergraduate geology student at CSM and Co-President of GeoAdventures. I love the outdoors, travelling and adventures, and am passionate about getting other students outside enjoying geology and everything that Cornwall has to offer. This year I hope to run trips climbing, kayaking, walking, swimming, paddle-boarding and more, expanding the society and increasing student participation.
